Popcorn!!!! what popcorn do you buy?
I was at the store last night and never noticed that a lot of them have milk in it!
was wondering what brand and from where do you buy your popcorn?
I miss it!
I just buy organic popcorn and pop it in my popcorn popper with canola oil.

yeah....I wish I had a popcorn popper.....that would be great!

But I don't.   :-)
I just bought Nature's Promise organic popcorn. I know I sholdn't use a microwave, but I also don't have a popcorn popper or the money for one, lol. The ingredients on the NP package are just organic popping corn and salt yay!
AML04143-

I just found one at Henry's Market with the same ingredients! YAY!
I just buy popcorn and put some oil in a saucepan on med. high heat and place 3 kernals in it with the lid on, shaking it constantly.  Once the 3 kernals to pop,  it's time to put the rest in.  then you just put the rest into the saucepan and move the pan over the heat with the lid on until the rest pop.  Voila!  popcorn!
Bearitos brand. Just plain popcorn. No oil, no salt. I add nutritional yeast flakes for a cheezy flavor.

That's how I do it marcinic. No microwave needed!
I have eaten the Orville Simply Salted from my regular store for over a year now.  I never thought to check the ingredients before your post...so thank you!

It's not organic, but it is vegan...and I LOVE IT.

Try this amazing popcorn snack that's full of so many essential vitamins it'll blow your socks off.

I got the idea from this video, http://vimeo.com/3179242 but have since become pretty creative with it.

Pop some good healthy organic popcorn in a large pot with Sunflower Oil. Then transfer the popped corn into a large paper bag. This works best with 2 people, so have one person shake the bag up and down while the other pours the goods on:

-Bragg's amino acids (you can also use Shoyu or Tamari)
-Flax Seed Oil (make sure fish oil is NOT added to it)
-Hot sauce (like Cholula)
-Nutritional Yeast (or Brewer's Yeast)
-Powered Ginger
-Bragg's Sea Kelp Delight (or Dulse flakes aka Seaweed)
-Garlic Granules

It should also be noted that the women in the video just came out with a kickass vegan cookbook called Therapeutic Chef. Her name is Kristin Doyle and her recipes rock. I highly recommend the book.

I have an airpopper, so I just by regular popcorn from the grocery store. I love my airpopper, no oils needed, just add the amount you want to eat to the popper and in 2 minutes, you have popcorn! My favorite ways to make it are with olive oil and sea salt, vegan butter or caramel corn.

I highly reccomend the airpopper. They are really cheap too.
I buy popcorn kernels in bulk at whole foods. They're organic and on sale a lot for
$.99 a pound. Regular price is around $1.39 a pound. I pop them in an old fashion crank popcorn maker that I got at Crate and Barrel for $25. It makes the best, fluffiest popcorn which never burns. I just use a little canola oil on the bottom. Yummie!
If I do buy microwave popcorn..I buy the NO OIL ADDED Lightly salted organic popcarn. But I can pop kernals on the stove with some oil or with my air popper. Lots of options for toppings too. My favorite is salt and a little garlic and onion powder.
I love my stovetop popcorn popper with a crank handle.  I use canola oil and organic popping corn.
I was thinking about going to an air popper, but I have heard that it doesn't have that much flavor.  Now that I am reading these comments, maybe it is a good option.  It's kind of fun to make it the old-fashioned way on the stove though.  :)
