cheese!
Yes! I am so excited to know my options! I can't wait to get some of these cheeses ordered!!! Thank you!
WOW wee! These look so good, great pictures! I must try!! Thanks for giving us so much info!
Yum!  I've recently made the wonderful switch to eating vegan and it looks like all future cravings for cheese will totally be taken care of! :D
I love this post!! Those nut cheeses are really fantastic. In NYC, they also sell these at High Vibe, on 3rd St at Avenue A. xoxo
For cracker recommendations, I adore Mary's Gone Crackers, especially in black pepper. All of the flavors are wheat-free, gluten-free, and organic. And  totally whole grain as well! Just brown rice, quinoa, flax, sesame, tamari, and sea salt. Everyone who tries these at my house ends up buying them. smiley-laughing.gif
I had pizza made with Daiya cheese from Slice (NY) yesterday and it was absolutely delicious. :)
Thanks Alicia, these all look fantastic! Any idea of how long they'll last in the fridge before spoiling? I'd like to order some but I want to make sure I don't go too crazy and order more than I can possibly eat before it goes bad. Thanks!
Hello! Sorry to crash the cheese thread but I need some advice on  creating a real tofu turkey , not tofurkey. You can't get that here in Sweden. We few Yankees here make Thanksgiving when we want and next Saterday is it. I want to take about 5-10lbs. of tofu and form it into a birdbag shape. Help me please:( This is an emergency!

What marinade? How long? Should I sear it first to get that browness and then bake it?
Should I try to glaze it? Oh yes, I almost furgot,- stuffing

Or should I just accept defeat and give up?

These cheeses look delicious!!  I was lamenting brie today, but now I realize there's no reason to never have "cheese" again. Thank you, Alicia!

Thanks sooo much, I think I will try the mac n cheese on Thanksgiving!!! I will let everyone know how it turns out!!

I just made your Cranberry sauce and it's fabulous.  I'm sharing with my co-workers.  Thanks so much
my favorite crackers are the herb crackers from mary's gone crackers.

i've been too scared to try nut cheese in the past (one of my core philosophies as a vegan is to not bother substitutes for the foods i take issue with) but i think i'll see if they have it the next time i hit up one lucky duck!
Alicia, I wanted to say thank-you.  Living in GA is hard.  Living in GA as a vegetarian is even harder...  After reading your book, you inspired me and gave me that final push I needed to become vegan.  Now I realize that being a vegan is delicious! (and i've lost 5 pounds in a week and a half... Just from cutting out dairy!!!)  So thank-you.  Mother Earth has truly been blessed creating such a beautiful and loving being as yourself. Love Forever!  -Hannah
