Did you get to see Dylan (the cow) or Clover, Emmet & Jasper (the goats)? They're so sweet.

I just read about a farm sanctuary in California in "Vegan: The New Ethics of Eating".  I am so thankful for these people who take on such a wonderful and kind effort.  If I lived closer, I would have no reservations about volunteering and offering my time.

They look so healthy! What a difference from mean places.

I love the photos.  How they touch my heart!  I've gone to Farm Sanctuary in Watkins Glen, NY,  and it was wonderful.  I've never been to this one.  I will definitely look it up and see how far it is from me.  Thanks for sharing Alicia!  Love you. -Temple

I hope someday you can visit The Farm Sanctuary here in Orland, Ca.  It's a marvel that they run such a wonderful place here in this "ag-heavy" town full of ranchers.  They have a little cabin you can stay at, consider it in your travel plans everyone!   We're in northern california right on Interstate 5 - beautiful valley, dinky little town, friendly folks. 

They are great.  I love turkeys and pigs and cows have such knowledge within them...How can anyone eat that..

When you tell people you're VEGAN...and what all that means, etc...most carnivores say,
"I COULD NEVER GIVE UP THE TASTE OF MEAT THAT I LOVE!"

Which basicly means, they just don't give a damn about animals...zero respect!
