Vegan Breakfast Ideas
I also reccomend the vegan soul kitchen cookbook, I had grits for the first time using the recipe from the book and it was absolutely delicious!

This morning for breakfast I had Bethanny Frankels Brown Rice breakfast, its basically brown rice, some soy milk for moisture (I used Coconut Milk) some maple syrup or agave. If you youtube it she shows you how to make it, it was actually pretty good because I was getting a little bored of the same old things everyday.
I have found that the hardest time to eat vegan at a restaurant is for breakfast.  It doesn't happen often, but sometimes it's necessary and unless it's a little later in the morning and they do lunch as well, it can be difficult/unsatisfying.
mmm....the brown rice & chestnuts sound good!  I'll bet hazelnuts would be good too!
I just had the yummiest and easiest breakfast! Mashed sweet potato with almond butter and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Have it with your favorite milk alternative and it's a well-rounded breakfast!
dissolve a couple tablespoons of Miso in hot water.

Then add hot water to the bowl.  Cut up seaweed & green onion and, VOILA!
I usually eat organic oatmeal with raisens and a splash of rice milk...and sometimes I will have Amys organic waffles with fresh blueberries and strawberries then I add rice syrup which I heat a bit to make it more liquid or i use maple syrup sometimes, then I sprinkle either wheat germ or some pumpkin seeds on the top and thats to get the protein I need...I love it....I sometimes also do toast with organic whole grain bread and put my peanut butter on it with a splash of jelly and a cup of instant coffee beverage which is barley etc...with soy cream no sugar dont need it...on very rare occasions I heat up spinach in a pan with garlic olive oil and a splash of butter them add tofu and lightly season with whatever your favorite seasonings are and enjoy..tofu will pick up any flavors you cook with...
