I know it may seem easier to become a vegan in a big city, and perhaps it is, but to know where all the good restaurants are is hard because hey are not always found on google. Through word of mouth I have discovered some amazing vegetarian/vegan/raw food restaurants in LA.

Sun Power Naturals- (Studio City) Rawsheed uncooks the best vegan food you've ever tasted!
Earth Cafe- (Beverly Hills, downtown) You'll probably spot a celebrity or two where the Entourage crew frequently dines
Cru-(Silverlake) A little piece of vegetarian heaven
Vegan Glory- (Hollywood) Right next to the Beverly Center, this delicious Asian food beats the food court any day!
Bulan Thai Vegetarian- (Hollywood and Silverlake) Their green curry with unchicken is to die for! Super fast delivery too!
Erewhon- (Hollywood) Right behind the Grove, it's a grocery store with the best carrot ginger soup in town!
Planet Raw/Juliano's- (Santa Monica) Raw food never tasted better!
Real Raw Live- Brad Pitt's trainer can give you great tips on healthy eating at this little gem in Los Feliz
Hugos- (Hollywood) They serve meat but their organic vegetarian cuisine will have you coming back for more. A great place to bring a date!
Real Food Daily- (Hollywood) Their burrito with cashew cheese makes will make you ready for a fiesta!

My favorite vegan restaurant is Veggie Grill. I feel satisfied everytime we eat there and my fiance, who is a meat eater, loves it too! They serve burgers and salads. My favorite is the Chinese Chicken Salad. And try the Sweetheart Fries. You won't be dissappointed!

THE VEGGIE GRILL is my new favorite!!!! So far I have had the "All Hail Kale" salad, ohmigod, SO wonderful!!!! And I've had their chili and tortilla soup too!!!! YUM!!!!! I mean truly delicious and so enjoyable. I went to the one on Sunset/Laurel (same shopping center as Trader Joes) and will be going to the one at The Irvine Spectrum on Sunday with my mom. They have a "soy-free" menu, which I really appreciated, considering I am deathly allergic.

REAL FOOD DAILY is also very good. I had sweet potato-parsnip soup that was to die for! They also have tons to choose from, I don't have as many choices there with my allergy to soy. There is one on La Cienega, north of the Beverly Center and one on Santa Monica Blvd, in Santa Monica.

R.F.D is amazing! Anything you eat there is a little taste of heaven!! I live in Orange County but everytime I am in Hollywood or Santa Monica I make sure I make it there.

I just have to plug the fairly new restaurant EGGPLANT JAPANESE CUISINE on Ventura in Studio City, just a few blocks down from Universal Studios (and a few blocks down from SunPower Natural Cafe!)

They are FANTASTIC. They have a macrobiotic Gogen lunch, and everything is organic with numerous vegan options--sushi as well as specialty Japanese dishes--and the staff is just so nice and sweet.

Check them out! The cucumber appetizer is SoooOooo Yummy!

Native Foods. My favorite!

Native Foods is my new Favorite too!!! Has anyone tried Euphoria Loves Rawvolution in Santa Monica yet? Every thing there is vegan and SOY FREE!!!! They even have a whole case of yummy desserts. I bought 2 truffles, but they are in my freezer, not eating any sweets til April, but I can't wait to try them!
