does anyone have any fear or seen any difference on their grain portion? because i am not sure how much i can eat, and how much i should not eat. trying to lose weight and grains scare me in that matter. i am part vegan and part raw vegan, about 90% raw but my cooked meals are superhero because they are so clean. Any advice?
I'm having some trouble with this, too. Over the years, I've found that not one diet works for everyone, so I've been customizing mine based on what I've learned. I have been raw vegan for years, but after reading Alicia's info about why it doesn't work in colder weather/climates, I thought I should try some cooked this winter.
Anyway, I almost never eat grains. Therefore, I'm having a little trouble adding them back now. I posted something similar in the "Ask Alicia" category without a response. I'd really like to know how she made the switch, if it was gradual, amount of grains, effects they had on her body/adjustment period, etc.
So far, I'm eating like you. Mostly raw vegan, as usual, with some superhero meals in the evening. It's working for me at the moment. I guess that's what really matters.
Oh I almost forgot to say, that since I am still adjusting to this, most of my evening meals are veggie-based. I don't always include a grain yet.
