I want to try it.......what brand of vegan cheddar is good. And does it actually taste like cheddar.  It's been a very long time since I have tried a cheese substitute.....probably 10 years and that experience was not good.   ANY SUGGESTIONS?

just had General TSO's vegan chicken and vegan beef and broccoli for the first time tonight at Whole Foods.  I was thrilled!  Got the ingredients for the COGBD.

The best melting cheese sub is DAIYA vegan cheese, they make a italian and cheddar flavor. It's completely vegan and soy free. I order it from Pangea Vegan Store. It's TDF. no funny after taste and melts great. It's $5.50 per bag and I get two pizzas from one bag, or at least two entree items, smaller meals it goes on and on. Pangea also sells Dr. Cow Cashew Nut cheese, which is yummy on crackers. Both will save you from BAD DAIRY.
