So I have been vegan for 14 months now. Lately I have been freezing. My hands, feet and bum especially. I have to soak my feet several times a night and wear 4 pairs of socks. It is ridiculous. I am taking iron, calcium, B vitamins and vitamin C. I workout every day and eat varied healthy meals. Grains, legumes, veggies. I am starting to get discouraged. I have also have been craving foods I used to hate like eggs and chicken. Crave like I am lacking the nutrients from the food not craving it because I want it. I also have been wanting cheese. I haven't had cheese in over a year so this is not due to detox. I really am at the end here. Please help me. Thank you so much.

Thanks Dawn. I might go get my thyroid checked out. It has been checked several times and they never find anything. But maybe this time will be different. I did lose 34 pounds and have been using weights to bulk up a bit. I don't know if weight loss could cause the freezing to death hands and feet. I don't have health insurance so I can't just run to the doctor. I will check out the alternatives. Thanks so much.

I am not underweight. I still have 30 pounds to go to be at a normal weight for my body type and height. I eat a ton of protein and get regular exercise. Today I got out of the shower and put 2 pairs of my warmest socks on. Within 15 minutes my feet were freezing and I took my socks off and my feet were grey/blue. I now sleep with 3 shirts, 2 pants, 3 socks and still wake up every hour and have to soak my feet to be warm enough to fall back to sleep. I live in California. So it isn't exactly a cold climate. It is a pain in the butt. I do not know what else to do.
