This looks Yum! I'm assuming that crust is not gluten free?

I'm just now planning our meal.  I have to work til 2 on Thanksgiving so it all needs to be make-ahead stuff and this looks awesome.  

Do I have to squeeze/drain the tofu ahead of time, or just pat dry?

Mmmmm I'll be making that pumpkin pie this week for Thanksgiving. This is the first year EVER where I'm not going to have to look at a dead animal on the table as we are spending it away from family at home with friends visiting. We will be making your wonderful barley caserole from your book! Can't wait!

My boyfriend & I are in the process of making this right now! Anyone with any cooking tips, for now or future pumpkin pie bakers? What to do about the lumpy-ness?? 

I made this for Thanksgiving this year - everyone loved it! I used all of the spices and a graham cracker crust. It was absolutely amazing. No one had the foggiest idea it was made with tofu...!

Just made this pie yesterday and it turned out perfect! It was easily just as good as it's non-vegan counterpart. I was a little concerned that it needed to cook longer when I took it out of the oven but it set perefctly in the fridge. I also saved a little money and made a super simple pie crust I found on VegWeb.com: 1 cup Flour (I used 1/2 white and 1/2 whole wheat pastry), 1/2 cup Earth Balance, and 1/4 cup ice cold water.
