Bananas

Whenever I eat bananas I wake up in the middle of the night with horrible leg and/or feet cramps.  I usually have to get up and walk around my apartment for a few minutes till the pain stops.  I don't get it because if you get bad cramps its supposed to be a lack of potasium which bananas have tons of.  Does anyone know anything that could help me, I really do love eating bananas.

Cramping can be due to imbalances or deficiencies in other electrolytes also.

Are you on any medication or supplements which may lower electrolytes.

yeah thats weird bc id get that during hs wen i played sports and they told me to eat more bananas and potassium rich foods and it would stop

I am on 3 medications but this has happened on and off all of my life before I was on any of theses meds.  As far as supplements just a multitamin, a b vitamin and a c vitamin when i remember to take them.
