Hi all, I just watched this free online documentary a few nights ago called Burzynski The Movie and it was definitely an eye-opener to what cancer is - a big money making machine. I have family going through traditional cancer treatments now, so this was powerful to watch. If anyone is interested, it's available for free viewing online until June 20th. I'd also love to hear what your thoughts are on the film after you watch it.
The film's about a medical doctor and Ph.D biochemist named Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski who discovered a non-toxic, gene-targeted way to treat cancer using Antineoplastons. The film presents his 14-year legal battle with the U.S. FDA surrounding the use and patent of this medicine, the stories of some cancer survivors who used his treatment, and the relationship between the FDA, the pharma industry and the top cancer institutes.
Of course we're all going to have different points of views on the matter, but I think dialogue is good. At the heart of it, I think there is a need to change the mindset that choosing to do something good for your health beyond the mainstream should not be called "alternative" but just your personal decision to do what's right for you. We're all so unique, we shouldn't be pigeon-holed by the medical establishments, pharma companies, and judgemental people.
