chocolate peanut butter cups

I just had to share that I made the chocolate peanut butter cups in Alicia's book.  All I have to say to this is I AM IN LOVE!  They are amazing!  Everyone that I have given that to thinks they are amazing...oh yeah, my new favorite dessert.  What a wonderful treat :)

I know, right? SO GOOD!!! Have you tried raw balls yet? Even  better, in my opinion, and I know that is difficult to imagine because the pb cups taste like heaven in pb form!
Have you tried Alicia's (MY Favorite Cupcakes yet- the frosting makes them out of this world)......oh my gosh, so creamy and dreamy- I tried the Chocolate (Carob) Peanut Butter Cups and they are AWESOME too!!
I agree with Jane...the raw balls might just be better than the PB cups!  I substituted dried cranberries for the prunes and they were fantastic!
Wow, all your variations sound delicious.  We also made them, but smaller recipe.  After the referigation time was up, we topped have with maple sugar sprinkle and the other half with brown rice syrup.  We like the maple sugar best.

I forgot to mention we made mini ones.

I cannot wait to make these, yum!
They are really yummy I know! :)
i think those may be one of the main reasons that the transition to veganism has been easy!
I made the peanut butter cups tonight and the chocolate didn't taste good at all....I may have put too much tho?  They look pretty, but the first recipe I did not enjoy 100%.  Love the oatmeal walnut cookies tho they never fail!

they sound great!

If I substituted almond butter for peanut butter do you think the cups would taste as good???

I just made them yesterday - they were outstanding.
I figured it out, it was the carbb, ICK.  I know its healthier than chocolate but it totally ruined the recipe for me.  Next time ill have to use dark chocolate!  They do make good dog treats tho! :D
I made the PB cups for the first time last week and LOVED them :)....I didn't have maple sugar so I used brown sugar but followed the rest of the recipe and they turned out perfect....I made another batch and then froze them individually so I could pop one out anytime for a treat :)....yum
Does anyone know where you can find maple sugar in Canada? I live in Nova Scotia and haven't seen it anywhere.
