I have been looking into the same thing. Whole Foods Market has a nice section on their website that addresses vitamins and supplements that vegetarians and vegans should be aware of,....

It is a rundown of supplements you may want to buy depending on your individual diet habits. Obviously you could buy the vitamins anywhere, not necessarily at Whole Foods. But I think they are a trustworthy source of info. I'm probably going to be buying mine at Sam's Club. LOL
Good luck!
I like the supplement line VegLife, which is verified vegan. I take their multivitamin, probiotics, and enzymes (only because I inherited horrible IBS from my dad, but it really helps!). I'm very pleased with the company and it's pretty well priced.

Make sure you're getting enough B12 and D. I know The Kind Diet says it isn't necessary, but i just want to cover all the bases to stay optimally healthy.
I take Deva's vegan multi & mineral supplement, when I remember. Except on days that I have my Vega protein drink because that also has all the vitamins & minerals you need. I'm pretty bad about remember but, I figure I'm okay as long as I do it most of the time. The site www.vitacost.com has amazing prices on vitamins & supplements and even beauty products.
If you're not feeling well you might want to go get your blood work done. A few years ago I kept having fainting spells and they did blood work and found out I was extremely low in iron and this was before I was even veg! The doctor said that wasn't related to my fainting but ever since I started taking an iron supp they stopped!
I do not take a multivitamin because there is question amongst the medical community as to whether it is good for you or not, or whether you should derive the vitamins only from your food. I do take a sublingual B12 supplement everyday though.
