I get a lovely newsletter from Dr. Mercola; "Humans evolved with a staple source of the essential omega-3 fat docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) in their diets, namely seafood" and then suggests that "it's important to recognize that animal-based omega-3 fat is not interchangeable with plant-based sources of omega-3. And while you do need both in your diet, animal-based omega-3 fats are particularly important for your brain health. he goes on to suggest a source for this in the form of krill oil. I have had good success lately with my vegan diet, my weight is slowing coming off, my chest pains have improved and I am basically feeling so much better. I find this discouraging and I am not ready to forfeit my beliefs to eat another entity. Can you guide me in this. Please and many thanks.
