deodorant

Do any of you have any suggestions for a good, aluminum and cruelty free deodorant? I've been using Tom's of Maine for the past few months or so, but recently its been making my me break out in a terrible rash - my skin is irritated and literally peeling off. Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

I love the Crystal Rock's with some Lush powder. I've also just applied some powder to refreshen the following morning if I'm running errands before the shower, and it really keeps me smelling good! I think Lush also makes their own deoderant bars, but have not tried them.

Hey, the same thing happened to me.  It was the apricot kind. I have sentitive skin i guess.  I have been using Kiss My face roll on liquid rock deoderant in the summer fragerance and it works pretty well.  Another one which i haven't tried yet is the pitt putty by bumble and bee.  I think it looks healthier because it doesn't have the alum that all rock styles have.  When I run out of my kmf i might get that, they have a deoderant garauntee and they'll swap you for one that will work better or work with your skin better.

My favorite store-bought deodorant is E Plus High C by Aubrey's Organics. It's the only one that consistently keeps me smelling fresh all day. I also sometimes make my own deodorant, using coconut oil mixed with baking soda, corn starch and tea tree oil. After trying nearly everything, both of these work best for me!

The Crystal Rock is the best by far for me. I tried Green Beaver deodorant and I still had bio LOL Go crystal. :)

I found a homemade recipe for deodorant from the Passionate Homemaking website. I have been using this for about a month and this works!

5-6 Tablespoons coconut oil

1/4c Baking soda

1/4 c. arrowroot powder or cornstarch

combine equal portions of baking soda and arrowroot in a bowl. then gradually add the coconut oil and mix until you obtain the consistency you prefer. You can add any essential oil to the mix, I used a few drops of  Tea tree.

I made half the recipe and placed in an old Lush container.  This deodorant does   work!

I apply the deodorant as a cream, and according to the Passionate  Homemaking website you can use what ever remains on hands as a moisturizer for hands.

the crystal rock really rocks for me , it has been quite a time since using it and it has not disappointed  me...

Body Scrub

Crystal Roll-on in Chammomile Green Tea and dusting baking soda/cornstarch mixture over is the only thing I've gotten to work for me.

I make a natural deodorant I think it works great and smells great. it lasts all day which I love! i decided to start selling it and people are loving it check out purelygreat
