The rainforest is important to me because it is the lungs of the earth. Can't get much more essential than that!

The rainforest is so important to me because it is such a large part of teh environment and the eco system as a whole. It is the home to countless animals who depend on that environment to survive and thrive. It is so beautiful to watch the animals interact with one another and live on their own without human interference. It's amazing to wonder what types of animals may live in the rain forest that we as humans have not yet discovered. I love to watch shows and videos with footage of the rainforest and its animals. We need to preserve these precious spaces and I think it is awesome and inspiring to see the problem through a child's eyes and their artistic creations.

The rainforest is an important eco-system that has for many centuries provided lush, healing and life-sustaining nutrients for its native peoples.  It today continues to provide these beautiful gifts to many around the world.  I believe it is imperative that we start taking better care of our planet and start making more efforts to heal the rainforest, to give back what it has provided for us.

The fresher air the better, (I have asthma and its a struggle to breathe everyday) and it breaks my heart seeing how much of the world is being abused, so much of the world yet to be discovered.. Animals we will never know and cuddle, Insects we will never see and be afraid of, plants that could heal the world but we will never know.. I  do know the earth will repair itself if its left alone, but thats not going to happen if the damage dont stop soon... I see how much disappears everyday and its tragic.. Time for a change!!!

We need a place for all the animals and plants to thrive!

It is so important to me because it is disappearing at an alarming rate. I want the world to flourish and we need the rainforest. It provides us with oxygen, fruits, plants, nuts, alkaloids ... and many other essential things.

How can we let something so beautiful disappear? How can the world just ignore how lucky we are to have something as wonderous as the rainforest?

We should join together and begin a global campaign to save the rainforest.

The rainforest is important because of all of the life it sustains. Not only living animals, but also the beautiful exotic greenery and flowers that I would love to live in one day.

The rainforest is so important to me because it contributed a wealth of resources. It helps us all in so many ways. It was placed here from God like everything else and its sad mankind has destoyed it slowly. If we hadnt slowly destroyed it would be something that would last forever. destroying the rainforest also makes species extinct which is very sad. The rainforest is open possiblities like new cures and meds and so so much more without it we have lost so much !

There is so much good in the rain forest I don't know how to pick one thing. Obviously it gives us clean air, but there are so many undiscovered treasures in the rain forest! So many medicines have been found, new plants, new species.  It's home to many things, it's just horrible the rate it is being taken down. It's also very beautiful!

Love this giveaway! What a great cause!

The clean, fresh air + water, important exotic life and botanica, and magical beauty, are all reasons why the rainforest is so vital to our planet's health.  There are big, important reasons why the rainforests are here-- they were here before we were here, and I hope they'll remain here long after we're gone!

The rain forest is so important for biodiversity. So many medicines come from the rain forests. It is very important to preserve nature in its untouched state, for the climate of the earth and the future of civilation. We can't tear it down now and then re-plant it in the future.

We need to preserve it for the future, instead of rushing in to use up everything now. Saving rain forests may help slow climate change, which is causing severe weather around the globe.

The rain forest is an important part of our Mother Earth, and we need for our Mother to be healthy and sustainable.  We are all connected, and harming a living being harms ourselves.  The state of the rain forest reflects the state of our planet as a whole.

The rain forest is rich in biodiversity. It has potential for new discoveries of animals and plants. It has some of the world's most unique species. It globally helps with pollution.

The rain forest is important because it is alive.  When we value all life and reconise it as a part of ourselves we will care for it with love, compassion and kindness.  I recently moved from Canada to Costa Rica to be closer to the rainforest and be a part of protecting it.  My children will learn from young how delicate the balance is, and our responsibility in maintaining that balance and caring for our mother earth.

The rainforrest the the most species dense area in the entire world! Knowing that there's so much life in a amazing place like the rainforrest is just beautiful! I love the idea of life flourishing, and that's why it's important to me!
