Good Prices for Yoga

Whats a good price for a drop in yoga class? Im only 14 so I don't want to break my parents banks!

Check out a community center in your arena, they should have reasonable prices. Most studios will let you go the first time for free, so you could try a bunch of studios until you fins one with good prices. Also I have seen where studios have free class with donation made, like church.

Yeah I'll have to do that! Thanks!

It is very responsible for you to research this and consider your parents first.  Price depends on where you live.  In the Northeast, outside of Manhattan, we pay $20 for a drop in.  If you go a little further South, you may find something for around $15.  There are many yoga teachers who are teaching outside of the studio now at the local Y, church, liabrary, etc.   Yoga is well worth the investment and once you have the tools, you can certainly practice at home for free.  Good luck.  Sounds like teaching yoga might be in your future.

i love this question, and i fully agree with candy's feedback.  i'm in pittsburgh, and the standard drop-in rate is $15.  definitely research the teacher and style.  although i practice consistently at the same studio, i always warn people against free classes.  in my opinion, a teacher commanding a good business will expect payment for services rendered.  being so young, you might very well desire a more powerful vinyasa flow class than a standard hatha version.  i'll actually be posting vinyasa flow freebie web blogs to my website in the next month or two, so please check back for free vinyasa flow sessions!  until then, you can enjoy pictures of my dog who saved my life and turned me into a compassionate person.  :)  please keep us posted on your yoga!  nicole - www.nicoleandgwendolyn.com.
