Great DIY Christmas Gifts

I found this great simple DIY recipe for a bath salt scrub.  Ive been low on cash this year so i had to find some simple budget-friendly ways to make some eco-friendly christmas gifts.  I'm making this one for my mother.  Any woman will love love love this scrub and some men even love it on their face to get that smooth soft feel that all their girls will love.

Ingredients:

Some kind of jar or container. I use washed out jam jars or mason jars.

Sea salt. You can buy a large bag for pretty cheap. The salt will act as a scrub to take exfoliate all the dead cells off.

Olive oil. The olive oil will moisturize the skin.

Essential oil. I love using lavander or eucalyptus oil.

Steps:

This is so easy its crazy.  1 part oil 1 part salt and ten drops of essential oil. do it in layers.  So salt, olive oil, essential oil and mix around until the salt is saturated with the oils.  Continue that simple step until the jar is almost full.  Last step that i like but is not necessary is adding a sprig of something.  Depending on what essential oil you use, you can use some shavings of a cinnamin stick, a sprig of mint, or a sprig of parsley.  Just tie a pretty ribbon around the jar and I like to cut out some shapes such as stars of hearts or peace signs out of recycled paper such as whole foods bags and tape or glue them on the side for some pretty decor.

And thats it! Super simple, super fun, and super eco. let me know if you enjoyed it ^.^
