Hello everyone...

My name is Mandy and I have to admit I'm a meat eater whos working her way to becoming a Vegetarian and hopefully one day a Vegan. Any tips and advice is greatly appreciated.

I do have one question. What are the basics that every pantry and fridge should have? smiley-smile.gif

Hi Mandy, I really recommend that you read The Kind Diet if you haven't as it has so much information that is so handy.  From there you can also find other books along the same line and there are so many great blogs to follow for recipe ideas.  Maybe go Mexican first up .... a great veggie chili or tacos ... easy and delicious ... or pasta.  Just go slowly and don't get freaked out in the beggining by all the weird sounding ingredients ... eventually, you seek those out and want to try them but in the beginning it's best to keep it simple.  Brown rice, veggies veggies veggies, beans, spices/herbs/avo/dressings to make things tasty.  Good luck!!
