i'm not the only one hatin' it

Personally I have a very high opinion of McDonalds, the only thing is that I wouldn't feel right to eat meat on a daily basis in a place where there's suspicion about how they treat animals... I still go there almost each day but I don't eat anything with meat or eggs...

McDonald's is so so bad! I ate there when I was a kid, and I will NEVER eat there again! They are so cruel with what they do and I will never let my future children eat there either! People say,"oh, if it's only in moderation", well, I guess giving your kids poison 'in moderation' is acceptable. Disgusting! I love being vegan, and I love what u stand for Alicia! And give Bear hugs for me :)

I'm also hatin' it, Alicia!

I don't know how anyone can support McDonalds. I truly beleive they are part of what is wrong with the world.  Something or someone is the sum of all its parts.  McDonalds should be ashamed of themselves - the animal cruelty and poor quality of what they serve to the public are 2 of the biggest reasons they should not exist.  People don't realize they vote with their money to keep places like McDonalds in business.

I genuinely think that eating McDonalds is just as bad as smoking. Gross!

The last time I ate at Mcdonald's was about a month before my wife and I began to switch to vegan/vegetarianism.  I know all about the food poisening as the only thing I had ordered was a burger and within an hour started feeling off and then my stomach started having shooting pains.  That night and the next day was a 24 hour period of hell I don't care to recall or type :)  It took 5 or 6 days for my stomach to totally quit hurting and I could actually begin eating real food again.  Never been back since and never will, or any fast food for that matter.  Since switching our way of life, we have not missed any of of that kind of food, which has been a Godsend regarding the health of both of us!  Mcdonalds, "I'm hatin' it" (an all you other nastinesses out there smiley-sealed.gif

Good.  I'm glad they got those responses.  Maybe people are getting educated.  I do hope that the people that are employed by McDonalds can get the message and start looking for empoyment elsewhere.

I worked there as a student and it will come as no surprise that is when I became a vegetarian. In fact I wasn't the only one, other colleagues (including management) also became vegetarians as a result of working at McDonalds. That alone speaks volumes.

As a company they treat their staff well and generally I enjoyed working there, but the food is not suitable for human consupmtion.

Jamie Oliver recently exposed that the red meat used in beef patties is destined for dogs; cainines who have the stomach for the meat used, humans do not and yet it's going into their patties. Anyone who eats at a fast food resturant is taking their life in their hands IMHO even before you take on board animal welfare.

I go in there rarely and even then it's usually with someone else who wants to go in not me and even still I have little more than fries and a bottle of water.

McDonalds is NASTY! I heard about this last week and was happy to hear the news as well.  Progress towards a healthier future!

It's addicting plain and simple. People know how bad it is for them yet they crave it, they eat and then crave it some more. It 's like a nasty crack addiction, kinda scarey actually. :(

After watching Food Inc, I made a promise to myself to never support that company or eat their food again.

I hope people are still sharing their experiences. Too many children are being brought up on that horrible over-processed food.

Oh I am also so glad that they got that kind of response!! We have to be responsible where and what we eat. I hope this will help others make better eating decisions.

Oh McDonalds.  Funny though, regarding their disgusting ammonium hydroxide to make the pink slime, they just announced they're stopping it (and doing what instead, who knows)..

I thought this was hilarious! They were obviously trying to force a positive "trending" but it completely backfired. I'm hoping that this means that people's attitudes are changing and that the general knowledge about what is and what isn't healthy is getting cleared up!

"I brainwashed youngsters into doing wrong. I want to say sorry to children everywhere for selling out to concerns who make millions by murdering animals." --Geoffrey Guiliano, the main Ronald McDonald actor in the 1980's who quit and publicly apologized

Hahaha! Things like this make me feel like, amidst how much still needs to be done for the world to be a better place, perhaps progress is being made and little by little people are starting to wake up.

I still have a perfectly good (although dried out) hamburger and bun I bought at McD's in January 2008!! I bought it for my kid's science experiment - it was intentionally left in the rear of our minivan - for 3 months. It never smelled bad, it never turned green - nothing...it just dried out. In fact it still smells fresh. We keep in in a drawer in the kitchen to freak out our non-veg friends!
