Hello everyone, how are you today..

I am going to be a flirt and I know this diet cleanses the human body.

Can THE KIND DIET kill parasites in the human skin, that are called

"Demodex Mites" It has also been said that "these demodex mites

may be a contributor factor to KP (KERATOSIS PILARIS) aka

(Chicken Skin condition). Here's my KP on the back of my upper arms.Sorry, rotate the picture  pic if you can.

Has anybody's KP cleared up completely from being a flirt?

If in case you don't already know what they are here's a link about them.

Thank You For Your Time.

I have something that looks similar to that on my arms. I had been flirting since November 09 and it didn't really change. I just became vegan this week and am hoping it clears up!

Good luck!

I have had KP since I was little.  Since going vegan 1 month ago, my KP has cleared up significantly, although not completely.  Hope the same happens for you!

I had KP my whole life. When I became vegan, (12 years old) My KP really cleared up. I don't have any of it now! NO scars or anything. And I used to get blackheads, those went away too:)

I think dairy definetly contributes to skin difficulties. I lost KP without even trying!

WOW I am amazed that ppl are saying veganism helped clear it! That is amazing. I, too, have KP. (I hate hate hate the chicken name, that sounds disgusting to me) I have never heard of these mites before, but that sounds gross. I always read it was an overabundance of the protein keratin production and drinking carotene juice can help block that over production.

I have been using a lotion calle KP duty and a scrub, you can purchase it at sephora. It is very expensive but it has helped me so much! my arms are practically completely smooth now.

Hannah- How long do the results last? Is it something you basically have to do everyday for the rest of your life in order to keep the bumps away? (dramatic sounding, I know, but it's a serious question!)

I've had this problem for ever! About a year or two ago I started using tanning beds which worked, then I stopped, and now I have the bumps back again. I went back tanning, which didn't really work this time. I've been seriously considering getting a treatment done at one of the salons near me, which costs $60 per treatment and I was told it typically takes 5-7 treatments. Pretty costly. I'm hoping to try the scrub and have good results, but your feedback to my question would be really appreciated.
