What's the best way to store leafy greens so they don't get all limp and wilted in a few days?

they have these special bags you can get that extends their life....of course i don't have them and have a fridge full of wasted greens! would love to also hear what others do......
If you have leafy greens that are wilted, but not moldy, you can put them in the fridge in a bowl of very cold water overnight. If you submerge the stems, they perk right back up. I use the green bags too, which does help some. Good luck!
ooh thanks for the tip. I also tried wrapping some in a damp towel and that seems to help.
My greens don't get limp unless I have them for over a week. I use an organic muslin bag to store them.
I seal mine in ziploc bags and they last a pretty long time, at least a week. And I wash out my ziploc bags and hang them to dry so I can reuse them. I do this for all of my produce and I find it helps extend the life pretty significantly. Good luck.
The vegtable crisper drawer helps keep them crispy as well!
