In my life, eating like a superhero is mostly eating local, fresh fruits/veggies, brown rice, and beans. I eat about 1/4 cup brown rice with my stir fried veggies or in a nori wrap. Or an ezekiel sprouted grain tortilla with veggie fajitas. I try to stay away from too much processed food. If I don't know what the ingredients are in a package, I don't eat it. Unfortunately, I used to work for a major cosmetic company so I do know what many of the ingredients are in the package. hahaha
I try to stay away from dried fruit because I feel it loses many of its benefits. For breakfast, I may eat oatmeal with blueberries or apples or even a banana on it. A fresh, raw piece of fruit is heaven!!!
I try to stick with food that is closest the way God intended the food to be. It's what has worked for me and makes me feel like a superhero. I used to be permanently disabled and had limited use of my right arm. Through meditation, massage, and eating like a superhero, I now teach 2nd graders and surf. We are all different and I think superhero may be different for each of us.
