Hi Alicia!!

I am from the Detroit area and I did send you a message a few weeks ago about some wonderful places to eat in the area.  A little birdie had told me that you were coming here to shoot a movie.  I'm sure you get hundreds of messages...but if you get a chance, check it out.  Also - there is a Whole Foods near Royal Oak at 15 Mile and Crooks...about 15-20 minutes away.  If you have any special requests, just give them a call ahead of time and they will make sure they have what you need in stock.

I wish I could help cook while you are here!!  I love to cook and I am actively following The Kind Diet, but I do work full time right now.  Althought with the economy in Michigan, you never know when that is going to change.

OK I am jealous I wished I lived in Detroit. It sounds AWESOME. I love to cook and I love the movies. Well Alicia if you ever come to Northern Virginia let us know cause I'll be all over that! Have fun making your movie and inspiring people to change and be aware of their eating habits.

While your there, you should try to sneek away to Traverse City!  It's beautiful! You'll love it!!!! There isn't very many vegan places to eat, but there is a great health food store...Oryana.  This is the best time of year to visit!
