LOOKING FOR LO-CAL VEGAN RECIPES
I am trying to lose some weight.  I eat grains, proteins, veggies, and 2 fruits a day.  Should I decrease my grains and proteins?  Does anyone have any tasty lo-cal recipes?  I am also looking for a Dieters Vegan Cookbook (If they even make one).  Look forward to hearing from you.  I keep making the same things over and over.
There are a couple of low fat vegan cookbooks, but you might also try doing a google search. There are quite a few vegan bloggers out there who do low fat vegan blogs.

You can get some recipes here:

Remember that sugars and processed foods can put on weight along with calorie dense foods like nuts. Lots of vegetables and beans are high in  fiber and fill you up so you will eat less calories.
I'm reading the McDougall Program right now. Supposedly people lose a lot of weight on his program which is vegan and can also be adapted easily for gluten free. I haven't gotten to the recipe section yet, but he has a 5 and a 10 day program in which people can eat pretty much all they want of grains and veges and still lose noticable amounts of weight.

He also has a forum which I found yesterday with a nutritionist who answers questions. I was reading about calorie density yesterday and that seems like it will be helpful information. Again though, I haven't finished the book so can't recommend it 100% but so far it seems like it might be just what you're looking for.
Thanks for the advice.  Happygirl, thanks, I will look check into the book.
