my thanksgiving dinner

funny, the clip in the kitchen so reminds me of my Thanksgiving at my Aunt's here in Pennsylvania...and I'm Susan at the sink doing the dishes. :) One difference is my Aunt doesn't serve a vegan meal...but *next* Thanksgiving I plan to contribute a vegan dish. Thanks for sharing Alicia!

Aw this was so cute and cozy!

Love it!

It was awesome! And delicious.

Thank you for creating the Kind Life website!  My step-daughter Ananda (who has been a vegan for a long time now) made your vegan pumpkin pie recipe for our first all-vegan Thanksgiving lunch and we all loved it!  Our whole family is vegetarian but now we are taking it to the next level!  I can't wait to try the pecan pie recipe next!  Your book and website are very inspiring!

Happy family!!!

That was really fun to watch and made me feel great for using my own sage (even in Illinois the sage was still alive).  I also made Alicia's Thanksgiving Tofu from her book, which turned out awesome and not hard to make.  Next year I'll try making some of the pies.  Happy New Year!  Mary www.marylovesdogs.com

You have the cutest family and they all looked very full of yummy food. God bless you this new year and the next years too.

Alicia, you're too cute! Your sage bush is AMAZING. I want one. The decor and the food looked lovely. Thanks for sharing. So glad you had a nice holiday. Best wishes for 2011!!!

Thank you so much for this blog Alicia!  Seeing an entire family share a vegan Thanksgiving is so inspiring.  I was sitting eating lunch with my workmates and friends when they all started talking about their favourite meat.  It made me so sad, but I knew I could come home and be with all of the lovely vegans.  Kudos to any flirts out there!  Flirting is great for your health and the environment and you never know what will evolve over time.

I adore your candid video! So sweet of you for sharing. Here's a suggestion for next year: after the last vegan dinner I served my family, I announced that the men would clean up and the women would enjoy some coffee in the living room. Everyone on both sides of the gender line were shocked! I've really noticed that around the world, the men get to smoke cigars or whatever after a meal, while the women (yes, usually cheerfully) clean up. Well this time, the men cheerfully cleaned up (and did a perfect job) and we women got to sit back and relax. Not one complaint and I think everyone felt good about it. Maybe next time, we'll pull straws and mix it up.

How I would love to be a dinner guest at your table just for one meal, any meal.
