Night Eating

I have a problem: I can't stop eating at night! I'm pretty sure I eat thousands of calories at night. It's awful. And then I go to bed, feel sick, wake up, eat breakfast, feel sick....ugh :(

Do you have enough food during day time? I guess you should try to see a nutritionnist or a specialist that might be able to help you detect where the issue is coming from.

Also if it is only an appetite issue, you try to use Ketokut. Those organic pills help you to control your appetite and might be a solution for you.

Hope this helps

It's...psychological...I think...due to stress. I'm a freshman in college and I use food to cope. But I don't know how to stop.

Hi Serena, I tend to want to snack at night too.  Grapes are my go to.  Theyre "snacky" and low cal.

Try taking a walk at night,to help you, your mindy and body relax and put aside the stress.Aim for 30 minutes. Also having a soothing cup of tea at night, such as chamomile, lavender or licrorice.Licorice is great when you are craving sweet foods.Don't eat three hours before you go to sleep; your body starts its rest period at 8 pm,and overeating will only stress your body out more and mess up with the natural cycle.

Believe me,I've just finally jumped the hurdle from overeating.I would binge eat at night, all kinds of things:macadamia rocha (smiley-undecided.gif),nuts,popcorn,raw bars, all kinds of things.I gained weight,my self esteem went way down as my stress and depression went up.I suggest you take time to eat thoroughly, chew very well, and have nutritious, tasty yet filling foods for dinner, like tasty warm soups. Also, see a nutritionist or a counselor at your college. It will help you a lot,as they issues can stay with people a long time. Most of all, just know you aren't the only one,and that they are plenty or resources availible. You don't have to be a victim! :-)
