It seems like a lot of vegan breakfast ideas contain a lot of sugary things- fruit, syrup, etc. My appetite is really weird right now in the detox process, and I've been craving savory/salty things at breakfast with my coffee. It's so tempting to eat eggs and toast, but eggs are a definite no-no. Any ideas for breakfast that aren't fried? So far I've come up with daiya cheese in tortillas as quesadillas. Thats it haha. Please help me! (also, feedback on this wretched appetite problem from detoxing is welcome)
lightly steamed kale and carrots with a slice of whole grain toast, leftover soup and bread, or a stirfry...leftover anything really. Try putting it in a wrap. Tofu scrambles are great, yes there is a recipe in TKD. Sometimes I desire sourkraut for breakfast...weird, I know!
