Check out these beautiful ECO wedding rings made from different types of wood - something completely different - I had mine made in 2007 and they are absolutely beautiful and each of the woods have different meanings.

I found a site when I was trying to find an affordable wedding gown a few years back. This website has a great variety of gowns and it changes over frequently! They also have great DIY ideas too :-)  check out www.oncewed.com
I love the idea and philosophy and I always try to be positive....but I do have to say, maybe it's the male in me...but when I here that name...the first thing that comes to mind is a divorced woman getting married again.....is it just me?  LOL
Anyways....keep up the great work Tracy!
I'm currently planning a last minute August wedding and the major site that has helped me mostly for moral support on not doing the norm is, Offbeatbride.com.  Sites like these are great!
My wedding so far, maybe it'll help others out there:
-Used dress off Ebay
-Bridesmaid dress has been bought new but it will be re-used, it's super cute! Same goes for all shoes purchased.
-Making my own jewelry out of vintage beads
-Flowers will be made out of vintage buttons and fabric, maybe a few wild flowers thrown in there
-Decorations are almost all from the Thrift Store/No kill kitty shelter I volunteer at
-The reception will be 90% Vegan (tons of flack for this!!!) I am allowing some cheese on the side but it will be local and organic.
-As for the groom I had to buy his a shirt and pants BUT I got them on supersale and he will wear them again.
-No favors, I will be donating to my Kitty shelter and "Adopting" an Elephant from the Elephant Nature Park in Thailand where I volunteered.
-Plate/silver ware will be all compostable, forgot what it's made of, I think a by product of the sugar making process.
-Oh ya and it's being help on family property/Barn in Pittsfield VT.
-All rentals will be from the town, mostly for chairs and a few tables.
-We will also be using Haybales for some seating so it can be re-used afterwards.

AND after the wedding anything we can't re-use will go to the thrift store and be re-sold, profits all going to our special kitties and their care.  Oh ya we're also going to go tubing in the river down from the house as an event, I'm super excited!  Good luck to anyone else planning.
I am currently using this site as well!  LOVE it!
