I use soap berries from another company and they work so well. My whites, in particular, seem to be much cleaner. I'll have to check out Earth Berries.

Soap nuts or earth berrys are an amazing product, I have been using them for over 2 years now, but you can get them for much less than this place you are recommending. Go to www.greenvirginproducts.com and get the same thing for only $26.95 for a kilo. Plus the shipping is a lot cheaper too. They have amazing quality and great customer service.

it's also really cheap to make your own laundry detergent using borax, washing soda, and a soft, fragrance free soap.  i've never done the exact math, but it comes down to pennies a load.
