Start with REAL food

Hi everyone!

I'm recently married and trying to get my husband to eat a little healthier. He's Italian so I could never use "the V-word" but I've got him eating more "veganish" at least 3-4 days a week. He's a lot less resistant when I cook "real food" rather than using substitutes that, while they may taste good, will never live up to the real thing. There are thousands of great recipes out there that can be made out of stuff that already exists in the average kitchen so it doesn't seem like as much of a stretch or a deprivation. Lately I've been fessing up (AFTER he's eaten two plates full) that what he just ate was technically vegan and most of the time he's been shocked. He even said he'd be willing to eat more vegan food if it always tasted this good. Yay!

I started a blog to keep track of all the recipes (and other cool things) I find that are "carnivore-approved" for anyone else like me who is either trying to make the switch for themselves and/or their families. If you have any great recipes to share, please shout out. I need all the help I can get :)

You can find me at http://sneakyvegan.blogspot.com or on Facebook.

Hahaha. I made the peanut butter pie the a couple of weeks ago.  After everyone had a slice, I said, "Wow, you can't even taste the tofu." Most people thought I was just messing with them, since they couldn't taste it either. Yes,  I was deceptive at first, but I had to tell them the truth...and they ate it anyways. :)

My boyfriend loves meat and thought these stuffed peppers were incredible. I made them 4 months ago and he still talks about how good they were ;).
