Still Trying to Kick Pop

I seem to be in this forever battle with trying to kick pop. I can go for a while without wanting a Diet Coke, but there are times when I just crave the punch that it gives. I know Alicia recommends switching to green tea, as does my trainer. I'm trying, but so far have not been successful. Does anyone out there have any other suggestions of how to kick this bad for me drink to the curb?

Oh wow, do I hear you - I love green tea, I do, but until they find a way to make green tea fizzy I just can't help digging my heels in - I like my diet soda, I do, I know, shame on me... :)

Could one make a green tea "spritzer", is that acceptable? :) With a seltzer, club soda, diet ginger ale?  I know, I know, me baaaad! :)

Have you tried the Agave sweetened sodas they have at places like Whole Foods? I know "Oogave" is one brand, but there are a couple. Not cheap, but they'd be a lot better for you while you wean off the stuff altogether. They have a cola one - probably still has the caffiene, but at least no sugar or artificial stuff.

If you are not ready to kick the habit, how bout a diet cola like Zevia? Its all natural. I think its really good!

I drink Izzes which are still not great for you, but better than regular soda!

I love that carbonated kick you get from soda, and I've found that when I need that, Club soda or perrier does the trick for me.  I like to add lemon, lime or crushed mint leaves, and leave the sugar out.
