success stories: paloma brings the kind to argentina

I love this story too and draw so much inspiration from people who strive to make changes in situations where it is even more difficult that usual.

I just posted a success story on my site from a reader whose hunting and meat loving husband has agreed to go vegan with her after watching Forks Over Knives...YAY!

OH my god!!! This is so amazing! It's been like a month and a half or two months since following the Superhero plan. It's been incredible! Never felt better! It's summer here and I'll be on holidays on January, so I'll be staying at my parent's house in the south of the country and guess what?! They're all going to try the Superhero Plan!!!! I've been, let's say 85-90% vegan and never been happier! Firs week were detox weeks, and I had all sort of funky symptoms, but I also started sleeping better, had waaaaay more energy and been having such a mental clarity! Just as you told, there's a whole meat tradition, it is historical, so it's hard to spread the word about it's naughtyness (same with milk!). But we are more than a few trying! I will always be thankful for what your book taught me! LOVE from Argentina! Paloma (by the way, my name means dove!)

thanks for your beautiful story, Paloma...I am so glad that you have committed to the kind, vegan way of life...before your diabetes got worse...I used to be a sugar junkie and junk food addict...it's taken a long time to reform and get to where I am...I no longer binge eat, either...the vegan way of life is the only way for me...it's to eat guilt free...no sentient being had to suffer and be exploited...and I don't have to worry about eating higher on the food chain, either, or the hormones and antibiotics that are in the meat people eat...congratulations to the vegan way of life, Paloma...smiley-smile.gif
