I love this place.  Nothing brightens my day like one of their carrot cake cupcakes. 

I don't have a vegan bakery around me...but I NEED one!!!  I checked out their website...coconut banana chocolate chip cookies!?!?!?  YUMMMMMM!

I live in NYC so i have many great vegan options... They just opened up an amazing vegan bakery in NJ where i am from. He uses all eco-friendly products and the desserts are delicious. Better then any vegan bakery in NYC. It's called Papa Ganache and it is in Keyport, NJ

Having grown up in Phila, and first attempt at a vegetarian life in Phila, this story brings happy tears to my eyes.  I wish the ladies much success and hope this brings a much needed influence to the Philadelphia area.

I live just a few blocks from Sweet Freedom, and am a frequent customer.  The staff is great, and I always meet fun, hip, interesting people while waiting in line for my treats.  My favorites are the vanilla chocolate crumb cake and the new cinnamon and coconut sugar donuts which are easily the best donuts I've ever had in my life.

I feel so lucky to have Sweet Freedom in my neighborhood! 

Sweet Freedom sounds yummy, and they can ship - Wonderful! There is a place in Culver City that offers gluten free, dairy free, is kosher; not sure if they offer 100% vegan but labels which items are vegan. We enjoy the bakery and will travel 50 miles just for their products as we are now gluten free-dairy free (and huge "flirts" with vegan recipes) to combat rheumatoid arthritis for our 18 year old daughter. Try them out the next time you are in LA Alicia!

so cool!  my husband and i are flight attendants and we love to go around the country and check out vegan stores and restaurants (we have been to at least 50 - we really should start a blog) but coincidentally we have philly overnights next month, so we will def be going to sweet freedom!  awesome!
