the best veggie burger in LA!

Nature's Express in Berkeley!!  Even though I work there - I can honestly say that our Almond Sunflower patty is rockin' it!

I have the best veggie burgers here at home. We have a very dismal vegan selection around here so I make them at home!

Holy, that looks amazing!!!!

http://veganrockergirl.blogspot.com/2010/11/veggie-burger-mecca-inwisconsin.html this is my favorite veggie burger in Wisconsin by far!

Oh my God. That looks so amazing. I need to go to California just to try that veggie burger. Nothing in this little town will do (although, I think the best here is also at a place that serves meat - a restaurant called Fosters with really huge veggie burgers and fries that are cut daily).

"Maybe if everyone storms the building ordering veggie burgers..."

(that is definitely what we need)

DC VEG is a food cart here in Portland, OR and it has THE best veggie burger I've ever tasted. If anyone is ever in Portland, you must try it!

I watched "The Veg Edge" (I think that's what it was called) on the new Cooking Channel last night. Portland definitely seems to be a vegan paradise! I lived there for about 25 years as a non-vegan, then I became a vegan after I moved here to Spokane.

Spokane is not exactly the most vegan-friendly city. There are a couple of good stores with vegan selections and one or two restaurants that serve vegan dishes along with the meat stuff they have on their menu, but no restaurants that are strictly vegan. I miss Portland!

Yum! That looks so good! The restaurants around here serve Gardenburger veggie bugers, so they aren't vegan. Other than that, Burger King serves a veggie burger, but I'm not sure if it's vegan either. We eat yummy veggie burgers at home. Usually an Amy's one of some sort. Again, the selection in the stores isn't too big for vegan ones either..... oh well! I'll have to create one! :)

Ohhh that looks so yummmmmy. I'm glad I live near Los Angeles County. I definitely have to try it out some day.

Thanks for posting Alicia.

Jacksonville doesn't have anywhere with really great veggie burgers.  Its not a very veggie friendly place, unforch.

In fact, the only place I know of that DOESN'T serve any meat is about 45 min away in St. Augustine.  I don't think they have burgers though...

Anyway, Jacksonville's full of yucky close minded meat eaters.  I only have one friend and he's a meat eater.  I always try to tell people things I know that most others don't...in hopes of making them think twice.  Finally, my boyfriend has agreed to try going vegetarian for me.  To just be able to make a difference in one person's choices even if he's just doing it for me, makes me happy.  Though seeing as how only 2% of the population is vegetarian or vegan, I hope to be able to convince, many, many more.

This world seriously needs a revolution.

I haven't been to O Burger yet, but the "Scorpion Burger" at Native Foods is pretty stellar:

The newly opened Culver CIty location is quickly becoming my favorite place to eat in LA!

O.M.G.... I want that burger and I want it NOW!!!  Too bad no place here has one quite like that!  And if it did, I couldn't have the bun, or the dressing, or the corn.......  sorry, no pity parties this morning.  But that burger looks seriously uh-freakin-mazin'!!!

Yum, too bad I like on the East coast!  I did make this lentil-nut burger last night and it came our really great! Thought some of you might be interested! The recipe is below on my blog..

In Minneapolis, I think the Triple Rock makes the most sinfull veggie burgers/junk sammies... they take care of transitioning cravings while keeping it vegan, but make you want to eat clean afterward!

I does look yummy, but it also looks like a meal for three people and possitively inedible as a burger unless one is a conehead.
