tomo sushi in burbank

THIS LOOKS AMAZING!

ive been living in boston for the past six months and have been following the kind diet, as much as i can. plenty of places here offer multigrain veggie avocado rolls! i refuse to eat white rice with sushi ever again. im heading back home to la in a couple weeks, do you know of any places in the la area that have multigrain rice options?!

sushi is my favorite food and i definitely miss it.  this looks great.  too bad it's not in chicago!

I have to admit the only food I miss since going vegan is sushi and this looks good!!!!...I dont miss the 18lbs that have fallen off of me in the past 5 months though so life is pretty fair it seems!!!

Stacy - check out Post punk Kitchen's sushi recipes (they're also in the book Veganomicon) - I eat sushi every week!  You can find some amazing vegan sushi recipes out there! :)

I was literally JUST there Yesterday!!! I didn't know about this vegan roll though!! Tomo sushi is SUCH a great place.  The chef is so nice and the atmosphere is so fun.  The bathroom is through the kitchen--but hey! that's kinda fun!  definately going back to get my taste buds on this caterpillar roll :)

was just there yesterday!!  such a great place :)

I grew up in Burbank!!! I actually graduated high school in 1976 with Tim Burton!!! I'm so glad to see that there is some cool places to eat! I'll have to go and visit!!! Thanks!!!

p.s. I bet Tim remembers the "Magic Apple "...right by Warner Bros,,yummy food..no longer there...sigh.....

Wow...I sooo want sushi now! I would have to make it myself tho so I'll save it until I feel more adventurous! ;)

wow that sushi looks AMAZING!! i know this is off subject, but i was looking at juices at the store today and a lot of them say "juice concentrate". is this a good or bad thing?  im trying to make my own orange juices and such with my vitamix machine but its kind of difficult & my juices turn out a bit thick and slushy. so im going to buy these juices til i figure out this machine...

funny, i used to love sushi and i'm kinda over it.  my husband though loves it!  i'd prefer a big bowl of udon or some age dashi, but luckily all that's available in most japanese restaurants here in nyc.  we actually have a tomo sushi here in the village too and it's super popular with long lines most of the time.  worth a try though (its on 172 thompson st)!

Does anyone know of great Vegan resturants in Atlanta, GA???

There's Cafe Sunflower in Sandy Springs. You can also check out Sevananda in Little Five Points or Decatur I believe.

Here's a list of stuff in Atlanta! I live in Marietta and kind of just cook for the m ost part but Cafe Life is close to me and fairly tasty!

We recently had a nice variety of very creative vegan sushi in New Haven, CT at Miya.  This prompted us to wonder about getting sushi in LA.  We'll have to try Tomo.

Oh my gosh. This looks so good! I haven't started The Kind Diet yet but I'm really excited. I'm really glad I don't have to give up sushi!
