I am visiting family at Easter in the UK. They live on the Leicestershire / Derbyshire border and I will be staying close by.

Can anyone suggest where I can purchase superhero items: umeboshi plums etc locally?

Otherwise I will buy online but wanted to ask everyone first.)

I live in Manchester and the only way I can get hold of items some as Umeboshi plums is online, try here: http://macrobioticshop.co.uk/Category.aspx?CAT_ID=86  There may be shops in the Leicestershire area which offer some items, but I don't know the area.

Supermarkets and heath stores such as Holland & Barrett offer some produce, but the lines tend to be limited.

Thanks for your help and the info. I have been looking online and will probably order from the places I order from from over here and get it delivered over there. 

I imagine that Manchester shops and Leicestershire / Derbyshire shops would be similar. I', in London for some of my vsit so I am intending on stocking up on some items while I'm there too. 

I ehar its freezing over there at the moment....we're melting in the heat here! :)

Whole Foods have some branches in London, so you will definitely be able to stock up on some items there.
