Umeboshi Plums
I'm in Southern CA, and I can't find umeboshi plums anywhere.  Does anyone know where to get them?  I tried Whole Foods and even a large Asian market (and several other places) and I can only find the vinegar and paste.
Do you have a Planet Organic in your are? Whole foods usually carries them hmm you can buy them online as well I heard.

Hope that helps :)
I had trouble finding these as well, but this website seems to have them. I ordered them today. http://www.simply-natural.biz/Ryujin-Umeboshi-Plums.php
Thanks for the suggestions - I'm anxious to try those plums!
I've been trying to find these umeboshi plums for 3 months now, Whole foods in las vegas doesn't have them. I'm so  glad I'm not the only one having this problem. Thanks for the info
I bought the plums at Whole Foods in Glendale last week while I was visiting.
try eden foods online if you can't find them in a store!
edenfoods.com
Does anyone know where I can get umeboshi plums in Canada? (West End Toronto Ontario specifically)
I found them in the asian section of my Whole Foods in Orlando, FL. near all the soy sauce and sea veggies but I also find them online at www.simply-natural.biz
go to your Whole Foods market - and ask the manager to get them.  If they sell ANY food by Eden Foods - then the same distributor will get them the plums . . .
or at Amazon.com if you want to order it tonight!

I found them at www.edenfoods.com - cheaper than at Amazon.

So I got my umeboshi plums at Whole Foods, but those things taste pretty gross...now I paid $14 for plums I can't force myself to eat. Does anyone else find them yucky?
Give one of the many Asian markets a try in SoCal.
Sometimes they are labelled as ume plums, usually come in a jar or plastic container.
Is it weird that I really love them???  I mean I get why people don't like them but I love them but I love them.  I just ate one and sucking on the seed right now - yummy.
