Hey, i will be coming back to New Haven, CT in Sept and i just wanted to know could anyone recommend a really good Vegan Restaurant there.  Im also interested in getting to know other Kind Lifers in that area.......Thanks!!...:)  Hope you are all enjoying this wonderful Site!..

HI Catherine! In new haven there is a restaurant called Claire's which is a vegetarian restaurant but has vegan options. Also, if its not too far of a drive for you theres an amazing vegan restaurant in Middletown called Its only natural thats worth the drive. 

Thanks Nichole.  I did get to eat in Claires and was very impressed.  Its a good sign when its really busy.  When I return to New Haven in the Spring i will check out Its Only Natural!....;

Also a new vegan restaurant opened in Branford called g-zen i havn't had a chance to go yet but i've heard good things. 

Also in New Haven is Edge of the Woods Market.  They have a salad bar as well as hot entrees and soups, most of which are vegan.  They also have prepared foods and salads and a bakery, as well as a juice bar.  All of the vegan items are clearly marked.  Its also a heath food store and has a great produce section.
