Want to try INDOOR gardening?

I'm starting a new series on my blog based on my experiences this past year with starting a productive, food-focused garden on my windowsills.

Has any body here tried indoor gardening too? What kinds of issues have you bumped into?

Here's my blog link if anyone wants to check it out. I would really appreciate your comments. :-)

I have grown plants from seedlings in my condo. Learned as I went, and this year I have relocated all those plants to my organic garden patio. I live on the East Coast, near the ocean and the salt air is no problem. Many people said no way-you can't start a condo patio garden. I too then joined the bagwagon to prove them wrong. I now started a free seed exchange non-profit org. in my area and also swap seedlings with family and  friends overseas. What started as a hobby is now a f/t job I love it. Please let me know what you are trying to grow indoors. I have experience with growing Milk Thistle, San Marzano Tomato plants, lettuce, herbs, etc. all from seeds. Biggest problem I noticed was not enough direct sunlight for my zone. Good Luck, Wendy (SSGSE)

and here's my blog too, if you want to check it out and we can swap ideas! Buona Fortuna,  from Florida    http://www.sunshinestateglobalseedexchange.us/

I have no idea if I could do this with my cat, dog and 2 small boys.  I think I would have dirt every where!  But between them and the rabbits and squirrels outside...I don't have a lot of luck with gardening!  I'm going to give it another go this year though!
