have you lost any weight?
Alicia responded to this questions in another thread, you don't strain the pulp, you actually eat it while you drink the tea. It's supposed to be thick and more like a soup, not a tea.

I thought the flavor was bearable, but it was weird to have so much pulp in my tea.  I only made it once.
is there any way to have this so that its more like tea?  i agree with other people, eating my tea isnt very fun....
:)
I had a really hard time with all that pulp first thing in the morning.  Im gonna continue to strain it.  I guess it might be better than not drinking it at all right??? The flavor is fine it is the pulp I can do without.
I've done the tea for 3 days now and I agree, I can't eat the pulp, I tried and gagged, I think its the daikon.  So I'm going to continue to strain it and maybe eat the plum if thats possible.  Has anyone done this tea and had success?
It says to drink the tea on an empty stomach, but does anyone know how long you're supposed to wait to eat after drinking it?
I'm on day 7 of the tea and I've lost 5 pounds - but I'm also following Super Hero. The third day of the tea I noticed my wedding ring started to loosen up and I was much less bloated. I eat as much of the pulp as I can bear and then I throw the rest in compost.  Also, I've found that if I use less than Alicia's recipe calls for - a quarter cup instead of half a cup -  it's more bearable to eat the pulp.
Are there any of the ingredients you can leave out or change though.  I really hate the taste.  I think it the soy sauce.  If I leave that out will it still have the same effect?
I think you can leave the soy sauce out with no problem, make sure your daikon is fresh, it should be very firm.  I like it much better now that I have real fresh daikon.  Also use less pulp if necessary to help.
I think the soy sauce is just "to taste" so I think it's fine to leave it out.
