Hey y'all! I cannot find Maple Sugar anywhere! I reallllllly want to make the peanut butter cups. PLEASE HELP!!!

I found mine at amazon.com. i live in a VERY rural area so i have to do most of my shoping online. I've made these twice so far and all i can say YUMMMM!!!!!!!

Hey Alexis...I usually buy mine at a local health food store...its about $20 but well worth it...hope this helps!

Thanks guys!!! i'll check both of those options. And kate, which health food store do you go to? I looked at a farmer's market but no luck. Like whole foods maybe?

I saw it today at Stop and Shop, but it was in such a small container and so expensive I am going to wait and see what my local health food stores have or go the Trader Joe's.

I live in Arizona and they have pure maple syrup at Costco here. Or I get it at Whole Foods.

Hello! I found some at my local health food store, and at the local organic store... also a few local farms sell it, but I live in Ontario, Canada so that's probably why, lol...

I made the PB cups this morning WITHOUT THE MAPLE SUGAR, it was SUPER EXPENSIVE (They sell it at Mother's Market).

I used organic brown sugar instead.

I also added a little extra graham cracker crumbs.

I added a splash of vanilla to the chocolate mixture.

I used chopped pecans on top.

I used mini muffin tins instead, and put them in the frezzer.

They are WONDERFUL!!!!

Hey Alexis...There is a little Health Food store right near my house-like 2 blocks away ...its in NJ haha and I see you live in AZ!...but keep us posted if u use the organic brown sugar and/or go to costco...theres a costco about 15 mins from me and I dont normally go bc I don't need to buy things in bulk, but maybe if its a little cheaper, it'd be worth it...i may not need to buy in bulk, but i am always on a budget haha...good luck!

I know right??! I couldn't find it either for like two weeks! LOL. I finally found it beside the organic maple syrup. NOT in the sugar section.I live in Edmonton, AB Canada BTW so I do my shopping at Planet Organic. I think it's probably equivalent to a whole foods....

I used cane sugar and they were soooo awesome!! Brought them to a Super Bowl party and they were a hit (even with the kids). I also put them in a mini muffin pan for portion control because these PB cups are so decadent. I hope that you enjoy them as much as I did :)

P.S. Putting them in the freezer for a little while is a great idea.

I searched and searched for maple sugar and when I finally found it at my local farmer's market, it was $18 for only 4 ounces. :-( It sounds like I might be able to use an alternate organic sugar? If I use an organic brown sugar, would I use the same amount that the maple sugar calls for? Thanks a bunch!
