Pam

So are those tomatoes still bad for your joints like normal ones?

I love going and picking things out of my garden. I too feel that sense of pride! Enjoy the fruits of your labor!

I just picked up a bunch as part of my CSA share yesterday. I had some other local and organic heirlooms. I roasted them with some garlic, olive oil, fresh basil, balsamic vinegar, and navy beans. I put it over health bread. They were so yummy. My daughter just eats them straight they are so sweet. Yumm!

I just picked a whole bowl of these in my garden the other day.  They are delicious.  My kids will eat them right off the vine.

yay!! they are so cute... well done, alicia! :)

i'm growing tomatoes, too... and i'm just now starting to harvest some. they are so delicious!

yum!! :)

.... tom - e - toes (as we call 'em), YUUUM!  My Grandpa used to grow them, for me when I was little, right on the front porch.  He knew how much I loved them.  I miss him and I can never eat them without thinking about my Papaw.  He was a wonderful man.

Good Luck w/your garden

I just posted pictures of mine on NotaCoolMom.com. I felt the same way -proud!

They are adorable! Thanks for sharing :) I live in a flat at the moment so I just have a few herbs growing in the window, but I can't wait to be able to grow more in a garden one day - very rewarding!

Fantastic! I only have a  window sill and I am still trying to decide which herb to start growing.  I can't wait for the day when I can garden.  Thanks so much for sharing, the tomatos look scrumptious!

Congratulations! I would be proud too, they look beautiful...

Yes, it should make us proud!  Not only healthy, but organic, self-sustaining, carbon-footprint-reducing, and so pretty!  I am putting my latest garden pics on my blog http://midlifevegan.blogspot.com

They look wonderful! In Austin, Tx I volunteer at Boggy Creek Farm which is a certified organic farm and we call those little cuties Sun Golds and they are delicious!  We keep them on the counter and eat them as snacks throughout the day.

yellow toms are my fave, too! i buy a few baskets of them at the farmers market and snack on them all week (i think they taste like candy as well!) if you have any extras let me know! ;) happy gardening!
