The Kind Life

I want to share with you some of my absolute favorite TV shows.  They seriously make me so happy! 

One is Friday Night Lights....funny, because I don't really like football that much, but I love this show!  The acting is so good! Jesse Plemons plays one of my favorite characters, Landry. I also love Saracen and Julie, and the cute guy too... Tim Riggins. Kyle Chandler plays Coach Taylor... what an amazing man! And Connie Britton plays his wife...I love her.  One time in LA I had a crazy fan moment with Connie! I was driving to M Cafe with my husband and I saw her walking.  I asked Christopher to pull the car over so I could tell her how great she is!  I definitely recommend you get the DVDs or rent them or borrow them...and watch them.  You can listen to the director commentary on them from Peter Berg...I love listening to his voice at the end of each episode. So comforting.  

My other favorite show is Modern Family.  You gotta get your hands on the pilot episode because it was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time.  The show is so clever and funny. And it might be fun to watch with your family over the holidays if you have them saved up on your Tivo or DVR.

Modern Family is great - it's tied with Glee for my favorite new show this season. Both are so much fun! 
Dexter, Weeds, True blood, and 24. I haven't checked out Modern Family  What day of the week is it on? 
I looove Friday Night Lights too!  I'm also not a football fan, but I just love the show...the characters, the humor, and just the "real-ness" of the show...it's awesome.   My other three favorite shows are The Office, How I Met Your Mother, and Psych.  :)
Hi Alicia! I haven't checked out Modern Family yet but however, I've gotten into Desperate Housewives! Would really love to do the tour sometime with friends there at Universal Hollywood. I'm a flight attendant and they're always fun to watch when I am sitting at home on-call to fly! I so dig NCIS, too!  Alicia, it was a real pleasure and a dream come to true to have met you last Oct08! I've been a fan of yours since I was in HS and I am so in love with your book! :D
I haven't checked out Modern Family yet, but my favorite by far is The Office.

Burn Notice on USA is amazing and fun!!  Eastwick was a new show that I am uncertain was picked up, but something I looked forward to every Wednesday night.  Desperate Housewives & Brothers & Sisters are my Sunday night picks!  We also love Scifi shows like Eureka, Warehouse 13, Sanctuary and we are anticipating Caprica since we loved Battlestar Galactica.  Yeah, our dish is like our entire entertainment source. lol
I recently discovered "Criminal Minds" I adore that show. Intelligent with a few curves thrown out you in every episode. 
I think "Scrubs" has been a lot better with its switch to ABC and the new characters. I know it has always been a show on the ratings bubble. Even though I hope for 10 more seasons, I doubt even another season will happen.

"Modern Family" is great. It's from the Steve Levitan and Christopher Llyod. They are the guys that also brought us "Just Shoot Me" and the short lived Pam Anderson show "Stacked". I've always loved their brand of humor.

The season is done now, but "Rescue Me" is always interesting in some form or another. It is expected back in the spring for what might be a final season.

Overall they don't make TV like they used to when I was a kid and teen. I just turned 34 in Dec. I hate Reality TV. But it's cheap for the networks. In sooo many ways.
