I'm always on the lookout for new ideas for creative gift-giving. A while ago I decided I would start baking treats from my book to give to people as gifts!  They make very yummy gifts, and it adds that personal touch that I just love!

Recently I made Lemon-Poppy Seed Poundcake Muffins, Chocolate-Dipped Shortbread Cookies, Oatmeal, Walnut and Dried Plum Cookies and Coffee Fudge Brownies.  Yum!

I used baskets and wrapping paper from things that I've saved from past gifts, so it's all eco friendly/reused stuff.  Then I printed out the recipes (on recycled paper!) and included those along with the baked goods.  They made the cutest and tastiest gifts!

What are some gifts you like to give people that include that personal touch?

The Oprah show was great!!! People need to realize that being vegan isnt weird! it is a normal day of life for myself and my family of 6! Our kids love tofu! Meals are easy to make and delicious! People are just too stuck in their old ways and afraid to try something new! Go vegans!!!! :)

Ahhhh!  Vegan fudge??  Please tell me the recipe is in the book?!???

Two Christmas' ago I made mini personalized photo albums for everyone in my family along with a framed photo of something special we did together. I browsed the clearance section at Marshalls and Ross over several weeks so I got the albums and frames for just a few dollars each. Then I ordered photos online from shutterfly in bulk so they only cost 10 cents a photo. Also, if you order $40 at a time you don't pay shipping. If you are anything like me you have years worth of photos you've taken during family gatherings, outings and holidays. It was so fun for my family as well as my inlaws to see those photos in print versus just via email! They gushed over each others albums for days!

What a great gift idea! Not only is it eco friendly, but it is the perfect way to promote how delicious vegan baking can be.
For our one year anniversary I made my fiancé a scrapbook album with lots of pretty recycled and scrap pieces of paper and pictures from our computer printed on recycled paper.... Of course I had also kept every card, concert ticket and movie stub over the last year! I made a page or two for every month and chronicled our yearlong courtship. It turned out really neat!
I did a similar thing for the holidays, but I gave out jars with cookie ingredients inside, and a recipe label to tell them what to do!
A simple and tasty treat that I like to make for friends or family is homemade trail mix!  I mix unsweetened shaved coconut, raisins, peanuts, and Sunspire carob chips! SO easy and SO DELISH!
i am obsessed with this idea! ive gotten to the point where affording birthday presents for all my friends at 20 or 30 bucks a pop just isnt working out. im totally gonna start giving delicious desserts, that happen to be better for you too!
