Don't mean to nitpick, but it's "chock full" not "chalk".
Earlier in the year, I blogged about an exciting new documentary called Forks Over Knives, all about the health benefits of a plant-based diet. The film comes out on May 6 in select cities (go here to find out where), and it's chalk full of interviews with researchers, doctors, and experts, including The China Study author Colin T. Campbell, Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, Dr. Esselstyn’s son and author of The Engine 2 Diet, Rip Esselstyn, and of course, PCRM’s Dr. Neal Barnard!
There have been screenings of Forks Over Knives happening around the country over the past few months, so many of you might have seen it already. It’s picked up quite a bit of buzz outside of the vegan community too, with news outlets like CNN discussing it!
If you haven’t seen Forks Over Knives already, go check it out, and tell me what you think! Get friends and family to see it. I’ll be curious to hear what all of your non-veg friends think.
I can't wait to see it, and I can't wait to hear what you think!

Just FYI....Forks Over Knives will be featured on The Dr. Oz show on Wednesday, April 27. Colin Campbell, Ph.D., Caldwell Esselstyn, M.D., Neal Barnard, M.D., Rip Esselstyn, and Lee Fulkerson appear to discuss the film and its topics.
Ok I can't find anywhere the release date for the UK, does anybody know when this might be? The China Study was an amazing book, I really want to watch this now! x
Can't wait to see it !
OMG!!!!! Sooooo exciting I can hardly wait to c it:)
I really want to see this movie, but it doesn't look like it's coming to a theatre near me in Nova Scotia. I guess I'll just have to wait for it to appear on itunes so I can download it. :-(
I went to see this in NYC last week and it solidified my position as a vegan. It was a well researched description of how powerful the benefits are of adopting a vegan lifestyle. It was not just a purely emotional film, it was factual, and that was the best part. The evidence is right there, it's not some abstract concept that animal products are not good for us. There is clinical proof. So I hope it becomes more wide spread and changes a few people's minds about what it means to have a healthy diet. Glad I was fortunate to live in an area where it is playing, it was a great experience. Thanks for recommending it!
