luggage tags

I’ve always felt bad about filling out a new luggage tag at the airport and wasting a new piece of paper. Plus, it’s annoying to fill out the same info over and over again. So I finally ordered some real, grown up luggage tags!

I searched online and found these great ones on Etsy, made by Marmaline. She is great! She uses all handmade, recycled, upcycled, found, and vintage materials. Yay!

I got two sets, and when they arrived, they came wrapped in the cutest eco packages. It was such a treat to open them – so fun and special! Great work lady! Maybe she has other great stuff too – you can check out her shop here.

Have you found any great items on Etsy lately?

Etsy is addicting!  I love the reusable lunch bags for me and my kids as well as her produce bags that are made of fabric.  I bring them to the farmer's market and always get asked where I got them!  http://www.etsy.com/shop/RandomSacksOfKindnes?ref=seller_info

I love Etsy!!!  I have a little shop myself!  Handmade mini art journals and scrapbooks.  I use a lot of recycling in my books.

Hey they are cool! Pity they aren't available to buy in the UK.

I had to respond again to this thread. THANK YOU for helping me discover Etsy. Wow! What a fantastic site. I used the 'search by color' tool just to try it and quickly found an original watercolor painting that I love and purchased it. The artist was so professional, mailed the painting out the same day, and it arrived wrapped up like a present in beautiful paper. What a great experience. And the painting is even more beautiful in person than in the photos. Love Etsy! Thanks, Alica!  -The shop I purchased from was: sixsisters http://www.etsy.com/people/sixsisters

I found some cool luggage tags made from recycled boat sails.  http://www.seabags.com/travel/luggage-tag.html

COOOOOL!

I found your website and am reading through it for the first time. It's awesome to see that you bought these from a girl that I grew up with! It's such a small world!

Etsy is the most wonderful place, want to live there. I constantly find amazing things. I promise to post something sometime :-)
