Thats awesome Alicia! I cant wait to hear about all the great products at the expo. Enjoy the show!
I am honored to be keynote speaker at this year's Natural Products Expo East this week, October 13-16 in Boston. Expo East is an annual trade show and educational event for producers and buyers of natural and organic products.
New Hope Natural Media runs the event, with the goal of educating and informing consumers about healthier, more sustainable product choices. On Friday morning I will be speaking, and then doing a question & answer session and a book signing.
Expo East is open to the public, and if you’d like to attend you can register here.
This event sounds cool, and I’m excited to see all of the new natural products.

What would really be exciting is to get to see a ruff draft of Leecie's speech! Poor KLifers should at least have a chance to help contribute to a powerful, yet succinct and eloquent, combination of words that would make for an absolutely groovy speech!
Now this, would be very, very exciting:)
So sorry to be missing this. We will be there next year!
Our company is young (www.TheEmailTree.com) but we are coming on strong!
Thanks for the update and please let us know if we can see your speach on YouTube
Veggie Planet is soo yummy. Portobello Redhead and Henry's Dinner are my favorites - they even have a soy cheese option instead of feta/mozz!! Also, Peace o' Pie (http://peaceopie.com/menu/) is fully vegan and has a ton of fun options.
Ahh! I'm jealous! I planned on going this year, but I'll be covering the California Walnut Harvest Celebration in Sacramento this weekend. Have fun!!
Was there working with O.N.E. and missed you...Poop! Love Expo West/East!
I'm planning on possibly going to Boston for my honeymoon in March. Anyone have any good ideas for food and things to do while I'm there? I went about 20 years ago with relatives that live in Mass. Went to Salem too to see the witch museums and such, but that was a long time ago.
As far as vegan restaurants go in Boston, there are only a handful to choose from. There's a vegan chinese restaurant in Allston called Grasshopper. And right next door to Grasshopper is a cute vegan pizza joint called Peace O' Pie. There's also a vegan Thai restaurant in Downtown Crossing called Mai Tai. If you want something that's in the city, there is a little cafe on Mass Ave and Newbury St called The Other Side. It's basically salads and sandwiches. It's not that great for what it costs in my humble opinion. But it's a cute little indie scene and they have yummy sangria. I hope that helps!
