The Kind Life


When I was in NYC recently, I had dinner with a my new friend Joel , and my friend Doug at a restaurant called Jean Georges .
 
First off, the maitre d', Alex Wolf, happened to be vegan! How great is that? The main dude at a super fancy pants restaurant is vegan! Anywho, Jean Georges made the most lovely vegan tasting menu, and the dessert was wonderful too. It was a great meal! I’ll be going back there for sure.
 
I highly recommend it if you find yourself in New York. It’s definitely a special occasion kind of place, so go there when you’ve got something to celebrate!

so jealous! we have nothing like this in Ft Wayne indiana. but we do have a great little Vegan Cafe, so I guess I shouldnt whine too much. ;)

Oh man my birthday just passed (next year- I guess!)  Speaking of awesome fancy pants restaurants. I highly recomment Blue Hill Stone Barns (the one in westchester). I had an 8 course tasting menu and they were super accomadating of Vegans. Best meal I have ever had! It is expensive but well worth it!

Does anyone know if this is any relation to the Jean-Georges in Vancouver?

I LOVE this! Restaurants in this league are sometimes so up themselves and unaccommodating - bravo Jean-Georges!
