Nicole Bridger’s Eco-Friendly Clothing

I am so delighted to talk about Nicole Bridger’s fantastic line of eco-friendly (and fashion friendly) clothing! The clothes feel great, look good on, and come in all these yummy subtle colors. All of her pieces work well with each other and are easy to incorporate into the wardrobe you already have of fabulous save the planet clothing. I really like that she is so knowledgeable about her fabrics --- where they originate and the processing (Earth happy of course) they go through.

Friendship Skirt

Nicole Bridger’s collection offers modern silhouettes in great neutral tones without adding too many frills. It’s her unique way of draping and cutting the fabric that sets her apart. We like! And added bonus: if you live in a warm climate, these fabrics breathe well. I’m looking forward to her fall collection and staying warm and saving the planet at the same time!

About the Designer: Nicole Bridger was born in Vancouver and obtained a degree in fashion design from the University of Toronto. After graduation, she interned for Vivienne Westwood in London and then later returned to Vancouver where she started her own line. Recently, Nicole Bridger won Fashion Lakes Action’s Inaugural ITA Design Forward award, which showcases eco-friendly designers in Canada. She was recently in New York City for Fashion Week where she showed her collection at the Ethical Fashion Preview show. Well done!
